An explination

When I first started this blog I decided that I wanted to focus on my dolls and my doll collection. Basically I don't want to use this space to whine about my life! But this blog is occasionally going to have to take a backseat to life.

I was going to just tack this onto my next post which is almost done and ready but honestly I don't want to have to see this every time I look back at that post. I also thought about not saying anything at all but I'm a woman of my word and I don't like to say I'm going to do something and not do it. I especially don't like to do that with no explanation. So I'm just writing this quick post to let you guys know what is going on and also to let you know I didn't drop off the face of the planet!

Long story short. My grandpa was very sick last week and we had to make the trip from Tennessee to Kansas and back last weekend. The good news is I did get to see him and say goodbye but he passed away early Monday morning.

I'm dealing and I'll be okay. This wasn't sudden so we were kind of prepared. I do appreciate any sympathy but I hope you all understand that I probably wont look at this post again. At least not for a long time.

Hopefully things will return to normal around here very shortly! I have several exciting things to show you guys including the last part of my shoe tutorial and a whole new wardrobe for Marta! I'll see you soon.

  1. I'm sorry for your loss. We all understand that things happen beyond our control, so please don't feel bad about not posting as quickly as you had hoped. -Julia

  2. I'm so sorry to hear that! Do whatever you need to do, you never have to apologize for real life being a bummer. :c

  3. All condolences to you and your family.

  4. I'm sorry for your loss. You take care of you all you need to.
